Product (RED) iPhone 3G Already in the Works?

It’s being reported that Apple is prepping a Product (RED) version of the iPhone 3G in time for the “holidays” in the States. This information has been rumoured from various sources, however being in the U.K I won’t be waiting for them to release it, as i’m so hyped about the iPhone 3G as it is.
This follows rumours that a 32Gb iPhone 3G and 64Gb iPod Touch will be released later in the year to drive holiday sales.
